- Materials will be transported along SR 43 between Avenue 136 to Avenue 128.
Drivers may experience delays. Signage will be in place to direct traffic. Access to all businesses and residents will be maintained.
Description
TULARE COUNTY, CALIF. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along State Route (SR) 43, between Avenue 136 and Avenue 128 in Tulare County to transport materials to a high-speed rail construction site. Hauling is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Monday, Oct. 21 through Friday, Dec. 6, 2024.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
