- Materials will be hauled from Road 209 in Madera County, south on SR 41, east on American Avenue, south on Cedar Avenue, then east on Jefferson Avenue to a high-speed rail construction site.

Madera And Fresno Counties, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Road 209, State Route (SR) 41, American, Cedar and Jefferson avenues in Madera and Fresno counties to transport materials to a high-speed rail construction site. Hauling is scheduled intermittently from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Saturday, Feb. 14 through Sunday, Mar. 1, 2026. Construction schedules are subject to change.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
