Description
The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor California Rail Builders (CRB), announces a closure of an alley between 12th Street and Poso Avenue in Kern County for construction of a high-speed rail underpass. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 27, 2022 and will continue through February 2023.
This work is part of Construction Package 4 (CP 4), the 22-mile stretch of high-speed rail between one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line and Poplar Avenue in Kern County.All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
