- Materials will be hauled starting at a high-speed rail construction site near State Route 43 and Nevada Avenue, east on Nevada Avenue, south on Avenue 5 1/2, then east on Niles Avenue to a high-speed rail construction site.
Description
Tulare County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Nevada Avenue, Avenue 5 ½ , and Niles Avenue in Tulare County to transport materials to a high-speed
rail construction site. Hauling is scheduled intermittently from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting Monday, March 30 through Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
