Lane Closures Along South Avenue in Fresno County

Fresno County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor, Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV) announces lane closures along South Avenue, between Cedar and Maple avenues in Fresno County for utility work. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 22 and will continue through Saturday, June 3, 2023.

This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.

All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
