Closure
MULTIPLE CLOSURES:
- Lane and shoulder closures along Belmont Avenue, between Parkway Drive and east of the northbound SR 99 on-ramp;
- Closure of the southbound SR 99 off-ramp to Belmont Avenue.
Work is scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 26 through Monday, Aug. 28, 2023.
Detour
Signage will be in place to direct traffic.
Description
Kings County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces intermittent traffic impacts along Grangeville Boulevard, Seventh Avenue, and Lacey Boulevard in Kings County to transport pre-cast girders to the Hanford Viaduct. Work is scheduled from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Thursday, July 20, 2023.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
