Description

Kings County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces construction work along Grangeville Boulevard, between 7th and 7 ½ avenues in Kings County for work on a high-speed rail grade separation. Work will include pile driving for the foundations of the structure. Work is scheduled intermittently from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. starting on Monday, Dec. 22, 2025, and will continue through Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026.

This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.

All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
