Road closure along Ninth Avenue between Corona and Cairo avenues in Kings County for road improvements.
Work will continue through Saturday, Sept.30, 2023.
- Traffic going northbound on Ninth Avenue will be detoured east on Cairo Avenue, north on Eighth Avenue, west on Corona Avenue, then north on Ninth Avenue.
- Traffic going southbound on Ninth Avenue will be detoured east on Corona Avenue, south on Eighth Avenue, west on Cairo Avenue, then south on Ninth Avenue.
Signage will be in place to direct traffic.
Access will be maintained for all property and business owners.
Kings County, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Dragados-Flatiron Joint Venture (DFJV), announces a road closure along Ninth Avenue, between Cairo and Corona avenues in Kings County for road improvements. Work will continue through Saturday, Sept. 30, 2023.
This work is part of Construction Package 2-3 (CP 2-3), the 65-mile stretch of high-speed rail between East American Avenue in Fresno County and one-mile north of the Tulare-Kern County line.
All construction activities and schedules are subject to change.
