Multiple Road Closures:

  • Road closure along Ridgedale Drive between Roxbury and Hanover Drive will
    occur from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 11, 2025.
  • Road closure along Zelkova Way between Roxbury and Hanover Drive will occur
    from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, April 14, through Friday, April 25, 2025.

Detour

Northbound Hanover To Westbound Ridgedale Drive Detour

  • Northbound traffic along Hanover Drive will be detoured west on El Vado Drive, and north on Smithwood Drive to Ridgedale Drive.

Ridgedale Drive To Southbound Hanover Drive Detour

  • Traffic along Ridgedale Drive will be detoured south on Smithwood Drive, and east on El Vado Drive to Hanover Drive.

Southbound Hanover Drive To Westbound Ridgedale Drive Detour

  • Southbound traffic along Hanover Drive will be detoured west on Zelkova Way and south on Roxbury Drive to Ridgedale Drive.

Southbound Roxbury Drive To Southbound Hanover Drive

  • Southbound traffic along Roxbury Drive will be detoured east on Zelkova Way to Hanover Drive.

Eastbound Ave 19 To Zelkova Way Detour

  • Eastbound traffic along Avenue 19 will be detoured south on Pickfair Way, east on Roxbury Drive to Zelkova Way.

Northbound Hanover To Westbound Zelkova Way Detour

  • Northbound traffic along Hanover Drive will be detoured west onto Ridgedale Drive, then north onto Roxbury Drive to Zelkova Way.

Signage will be in place to direct traffic. Access will be maintained to all businesses and residents.

Description

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. – The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority), in cooperation with design-build contractor Tutor-Perini / Zachry / Parsons (TPZP), announces road closures along Ridgedale Drive and Zelkova Way in Madera for utility work. Work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, March 31, through Friday, April 25, 2025.

This work is part of Construction Package 1 (CP 1), the first 32-mile stretch of high-speed rail between Avenue 19 in Madera County and East American Avenue in Fresno County.

All construction activities and schedules are subject to change. The California High-Speed Rail project is considered a critical infrastructure sector, and as the project continues, staff, contractors and construction workers are following specific guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all employees due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Traffic laws will be fully enforced and commuters are expected to be aware of the surrounding activities, remain alert and watch for construction vehicles and personnel. The public is asked to drive carefully and be extra cautious while traveling though the construction areas.
