Golden State Boulevard Realignment

Construction on the Golden State Boulevard realignment began south of Herndon Avenue in June 2017. The new alignment of Golden State Boulevard will be constructed west of the existing road. The future high-speed rail line will then be constructed between the new roadway and existing Union Pacific rail line.

Crews are conducting utility relocations along Golden State Boulevard including installing a new sewer line in preparation for relocating the roadway to the west. The high-speed rail line will be constructed between the new roadway and existing freight lines.
