All pre-cast concrete girders and 60 pre-cast concrete panels have been placed at the State Route 46 Underpass in Kern County. Ironworkers are now working on tying rebar for the deck, and for the shear keys near the bridge abutments.
State Route 46 Underpass
An underpass along State Route (SR) 46 taking traffic underneath the the existing BNSF rail lines and future high-speed rail lines.

On July 7, 12 pre-cast concrete girders needed for superstructure were installed over State Route 46, parallel to the BNSF tracks. Ironworkers will continue to tie rebar on the diaphragms of the structure in the coming weeks.
