A grade separation at Idaho Avenue taking traffic over future high-speed rail lines.
Along Idaho Avenue between State Route 43 and Seventh Avenue in Kings County.
At Idaho Avenue, crews have completed hauling dirt to form the slopes of the overcrossing. More than 9,000 cubic-yards per day of embankment soils were imported to the site for crews to build the slopes and compact dirt for the structure. As many as 320 loads of soils were delivered in a single day.
Currently, a temporary road was built around the embankment to provide a detour route for traffic along Idaho Avenue. This detoru was built in preparation for the future closure of jackson Avenue as crews prepare to begin work for an overcrossing.
